Hours per week: 40 hours, Full-time

Job Responsibilities:
Write daily prep sheets for each department supervise daily operations in the kitchen and on serving lines, do some product ordering, Work on sheets with kitchen staff.

• Oversee produce and cookie orders
• Write prep sheets for each department make sure assigned tasks are completed
• Work with staff on daily sheets
• BOH Inventory
• Responsible for managing the eSELFSERVE system for all employees (Philippians 2:4)
• Speak with vendors
• Ordering and doing invoices
• Working Chef
• Coordinating catering events alongside Director
• Maintenance on kitchen equipment
• Make sure standardized recipes are followed for all preparations
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Communicate any new information to Director of Food Services as new information arrives (Ecclesiastes 4:9)
• Write and maintain kitchen schedule
• Write daily specials, post online and display in case Friday before the new week
• Supervise production and service of school lunch
• Supervise catered functions food production and service
• End-of-month inventory
• Monitor food cost hold at 38-40% (2 Corinthians 9: 6-7)
• Function as a productive part of the church staff and attend staff meetings in coordination with direct supervisor (1 Peter 4:10)
• Keep the ministry in the forefront of all you do.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor (Colossians 3:23)
Skills:
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in food service industry
• Graduate of culinary school with leadership experience
Other Qualifications:
• Calvary Chapel must be your home church
• Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus through spiritual and moral integrity (Romans 10:9-10)
• Fruit of the Spirit is consistently displayed in your life (Galatians 5:22-23)

• Mature, ongoing relationship with Christ and regularly attend church service

Compensation: $36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
